Whether guests are traveling for business or pleasure, they can enjoy the free spirit of New Orleans, just steps from the French Quarter, at the New Orleans Marriott. The 41 story hotel, one of the city's largest properties, dominates its corner of the French Quarter with twin towers casting shadows over Bourbon Street. The Marriott provides extensive conference space, an outdoor pool, fitness room, dry sauna and commanding views of the Mississippi River from the top floor Riverview restaurant. From this vantage point, diners can view the river's unique twists and turns that gave the city its Crescent City nickname. The Riverview dishes up gourmet regional fare, such as gumbo, and French influenced cuisine. The casual Caf� du Marche on the ground floor features sandwiches and popular local foods, such as jambalaya. Guests can kick back with drinks and conversation at the outdoor Gazebo bar or in the Lobby Bar.
Meanwhile, the 1,310 guestrooms, most with spectacular vistas, come complete with soft couches, premium linens and high speed Internet access.
One of the city's largest hotels, the Marriott generally brims with conventioneers. The hotel's ample lobby is optimum for people watching. The hotel's 80,000 square feet of conference and banquet space, complete with teleconferencing and videoconferencing, make the Marriott's value clear to business travelers and event planners, but a pool for adults, another one for children, a fitness center, bars and restaurants reel in families and other leisure travelers.

The hotel's pool is closed for renovations. No expected date of completion is available. During the renovation period, the hotel is offering complimentary access to the pool across the street at the JW Marriott New Orleans.
