Saint Germain des Pres is three kilometres from the hotel, and Notre Dame Cathedral is five kilometres away. Mouton Duvernet Metro station is opposite the hotel.
Hotel Features. The family run Best Western Nouvel Orleans hotel occupies a 19th century building with a mansard roof, red awnings and iron balcony railings. The lobby features the original stone walls and is decorated with modern art. Coffee and complimentary newspapers are on offer in the lobby, which has a concierge desk and a safe. There is a meeting room.
A winding staircase by the hotel's entrance leads down to the breakfast room, which serves a selection of breakfast options including homemade pastries, eggs and cereals.
Guestrooms. The Best Western Nouvel Orleans hotel's 46 climate controlled guestrooms are decorated in a contemporary style with furniture from French designers Cinna Roset. All rooms have have dial up Internet access (surcharge), flat screen televisions with satellite channels, safes and minibars. Top floor rooms have views of the Montparnasse Tower and the tip of the Eiffel Tower.
Expert Tip. The Montparnasse district of Paris is home to the brasseries frequented by the Lost Generation of American writers, who lived in Paris after the First World War. Saint Germain des Pres, three kilometres from the hotel, was the centre of the existentialist movement.

From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG):
Distance to Best Western Nouvel Orleans hotel is 50 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there. RER line B trains run from the airport to central Paris. Line B3 (Roissyrail) departs from Terminal 2 and runs to Denfert Rochereau, St Michel, Chatelet les Halles, and Gare du Nord. Single tickets cost 7.85 EUR and journey time is about 25 minutes. The Mouton Duvernet Metro station is across the road from the hotel. Roissybus shuttles run from all three terminals to Place de l'Opera. Buses depart every 15 minutes, and single tickets cost about 8 EUR. Air France shuttles stop at the Arc de Triomphe. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The hotel is located on Avenue Du General Leclerc. Paris is easy to explore on foot, and there is a reliable, cheap metro (underground), which runs throughout the city and the suburbs. The Mouton Duvernet Metro station is across the road from the hotel. Buses are a great way to see the city's sights. Tickets can be purchased from bus drivers or from the machines in Metro stations. Regional RER trains run to destinations in the surrounding area. Taxis are available in the streets, but can be hard to find at busy times. Advance booking is recommended.
