The Hilton Lyon is a modern hotel linked to the Congress Centre and set on the banks of the Rhone by Tete d'Or Park, one kilometre from the city centre. This six floor property features 200 air conditioned guestrooms, each with a minimum size of 32 square metres. Decorated in warm tones with dark cherry wood furnishings, rooms all include flatscreen satellite televisions with pay movies, wireless Internet, tea and coffee making facilities, safes and hair dryers.
Active guests can enjoy a work out in the fully equipped gymnasium or top up the tan on a sunbed and relax in the Moroccan style steam bath (surcharges apply). Dining options include a Thai restaurant and a French brasserie, while the hotel bar includes an outdoor terrace overlooking the river. Styled as an Egyptian palace the Pharaon Casino is filled with 250 gaming machines and traditional gambling tables. Located directly underneath the hotel, the casino is accessible via the hotel lift and open until 4 AM daily. Business guests have access to 18 meeting rooms accommodating up to 600 people and a business centre offering round the clock assistance and wireless Internet access; the hotel is also linked to the adjacent congress centre. Onsite parking is provided at a cost of approximately �14 per day. The historical old town is a 500 metre walk and the city's Natural History, Contemporary Art and Fine Art Museums are all within two kilometres. Lyon Saint Exupery Airport is 25 kilometres away, approximately 30 minutes by car.

Driving Directions
|
|
Trains run from the airport's TGV station and serve many national French destinations. A taxi rank is located in front of Terminal 1, level 1. A taxi desk is also located on level 1 in the central hall. For Lyon city centre, the airport shuttle bus runs every 20 minutes departing from bus stop number 1; a return ticket costs around EUR 15. A four line metro system and over 85 bus lines service Lyon and its surroundings. Tickets for both systems are obtained at city kiosks, train stations, vending machines and from bus drivers. Lyon is also great to explore on foot; Rue Victor Hugo and Rue de la Republique traverse the central city and extend across the Saone River into Vieux Lyon.
Driving directions: From the airport follow signs for Lyon centre and Porte de la Doua then Part Dieu Tete d'Or and Cite Internationale.
